Connecting Kawach & Sentry Accounts
Overview
This article explains how to integrate Sentry with Kawach to enable continuous visibility into application errors and security-related issues. Once connected, Kawach can monitor Sentry issues in read-only mode and surface relevant findings as part of your compliance and risk workflows.
This integration helps ensure that application reliability and security signals are consistently tracked and available for audits, reviews, and internal assessments.
Prerequisites
Before starting the integration, ensure the following:
- You have an active Sentry account.
- You have Admin or Organization Owner access in Sentry.
- You have access to your organization’s Kawach account with permissions to manage integrations.
- You know which Sentry organization and projects you want Kawach to monitor.
What Kawach Accesses
Once connected, Kawach can:
- Read organization
- Monitor issues and alerts
- Track error trends relevant to compliance and operational risk
Steps to Integrate Sentry with Kawach
Step 1: Navigate to Integrations in Kawach
- Log in to your Kawach account.
- Go to Settings.
- Select the Integrations tab.
- Click Create.
- Locate Sentry from the list of available integrations.
- Click Connect.
Step 2: Authorize Kawach in Sentry
- You will be redirected to Sentry Sentry authorization page.
- Select the Sentry organization you want to connect.
- Review the permissions requested by Kawach.
- Approve the connection.
Step 3: Select Projects to Monitor
After authorization:
- You will be redirected back to Kawach.
- Select the Sentry projects you want Kawach to monitor.
- Confirm your selection.
Kawach will begin syncing data for the selected projects.
After the Integration
Once the integration is complete:
- Sentry issues are continuously monitored within Kawach.
- Relevant findings are surfaced.
- Teams get centralized visibility without switching tools.
This setup supports ongoing compliance by ensuring application-level signals are consistently tracked and available as evidence.
Troubleshooting
Authorization failed

Ensure you are logged into the correct Sentry organization and have Admin or Owner access.
Projects not visible

Check whether the selected projects belong to the authorized organization.
Data not syncing

Allow a few minutes after setup. If issues persist, try reconnecting the integration.
